Creating and Managing Sets

Sets help organise coins around a collecting goal. A set might represent a denomination, monarch, date run, type series or any theme that matters to you.

Create a clear scope

Give the set a specific name and decide what counts as complete. For example, note whether you are collecting every date, one example of each type or only coins from a particular mint.

Add and review coins

1. Create the set from Coin Management.
2. Add the relevant coins from your collection.
3. Review duplicates and gaps.
4. Update the set as new coins are acquired or research changes.

A coin may be relevant to more than one collecting goal. Use notes to explain special inclusions and keep the set definition stable so progress remains meaningful.
